Heal from within: Family Dynamics/Drama! Christmas Special

There’s a great saying "If you think you're enlightened, go spend a week with your family"!

There is no one on earth who can push our buttons like family can. They can without doubt be some of the toughest relationships we experience.

Why?

Because they know our history & every version of us that ever was - some we maybe even want to forget! Oh, and they have their own version of events (which they will defend to the death!)

On a more serious note - any relationship where we feel dependant on someone, but they also cause us pain (which happens in the 'nicest', most 'respectable' homes in the land), is an incredibly tough place to be but also incredibly common.

Dependency amplifies suffering and whilst yes we grow up & become less dependent, we still don't lose the imprint of what we've experienced & often will move on to be dependent on a partner or dependant on our children’s love or feel obligated to care for a relative or sibling.

There is also a whole heap of 'shoulds', 'musts', guilt & obligation around family. Not to mention family conditioning and generational trauma! It’s rarely a pretty picture... but hey we're all in it together!

But the good news is, as with everything, it’s all energy and it can, believe it or not, be transformed. When we open our eyes & heart to the possibility, we will find fresh perspective, opportunities to reframe, let go and create a new lens through which we see our nearest & dearest.

Most of the time it’s not about changing what you do, it’s about changing the energy with which you do it.

This workshop aims to bring you all this & more. I'll be explaining why we humans do the things we do, how we are all unwittingly entangled in the drama triangle and how to extricate yourself gently, without needing to pull any punches or upset the apple cart (too much!)

I want to bring the sparkle and shine back to your festive season, help you make peace from within, flip the script and maybe even have you chuckling to yourself about just how crackers your family are!!

Reminding me of another great saying "act normal, they'll never suspect a thing"!!!

This workshop is running in collaboration with Heal Spa, in Harrogate. It is the most beautiful & welcoming venue with an amazing array of refreshments to choose from and the most glorious shop too, which is feeling very festive & there will be time for a spot of Christmas Shopping.
