Bells Across America

Come join the Jane McAfee Chapter, Kentucky Society Daughters of the American Revolution in celebrating the signing of our Constitution!

In Commemoration of the signing of the US Constitution, bells will ring out across America at 4:00 p.m. (EDT) on Wednesday, September 17. It was at this time that the signers of the Constitution used a quill pen and ink to sign this famous document on September 17, 1787.

Meet us in front of the Mercer County Judicial Center at 228 S Main Street in Harrodsburg to join in.

Bells will be available for a donation, or bring your own! A reading of the Preamble to the Constitution will follow.
