Okay #PLANTGANG!!! We are hosting hopefully the first of many impromptu PLANT SALE & SWAP events! If we get lots of interests and participation...we just may continue on and keep 'em coming! So, that being said, this first one will be at my home and is completely casual and SIMPLE! Three hours of friendly plant swapping, selling and commoradorie! There will cool lemonade provided! Bring your lawn chairs and a table of sorts if you have more than a few to swap or sell! Totally up to you! Here's what to expect and some guidelines! PAY ATTENTION TO THE PARKING SITUATION!
WHAT TO EXPECT & GUIDELINES:
PLANT SWAP:
Bring your healthy, pest-free (hopefully) plants, cuttings or seeds to swap with others. Label with names please.
**SWAP RULE: DO NOT TAKE HOME MORE THAN YOU BRING TO SWAP! However, rules can be bent - check with plant owners!
PLANTS FOR SALE:
Make sure plants are marked for sale only and with names of plants and pricing. You may bring a table or whatever works for you to put your plants for sale in your own designated area. We are just using my backyard so be creative or just plop 'em on the ground LOL. (I'll have a table for the swapping to take place and a table with anything that will be "free" for the taking).
COMMUNITY:
Share your knowledge and learn a thing or two while making new friends!
LOCATION:
606 W. Washington Street, Harrisonville, MO
OUTSIDE EVENT - although bathroom will be accessible and some fans outside!
PARKING: Do not park in driveway. Parking is only allowed on SOUTH side of Washington Street (across from house). Feel free to park along Washington or park in alley to left of house (I'm on a corner). If you park in alley be sure to park on the left side of road and far enough over to not block oncoming traffic. My backyard is adjacent to alley.
I hope to have a little repotting and propagation station for ya'll to use as well! Feel to bring some extra pots, soil or plant accessories to swap or share!
BONUS TIPS:
Bring your own bags, boxes or containers to carry your new plant acquisitions home!
