CLASS DESCRIPTION: Baguazhang is an 18th century Chinese martial art inspired by a form of Taoist meditative circle walking. This form of internal martial arts is characterized by constant circular movements and change, and the ability to fight while being on the move. A relative of Taijiquan (Tai chi) and Xingyiquan, Baguazhang is considered the most circular and spiraling system of Chinese martial arts (kungfu).
