Come join the Wine Society at Rootstock Wine Bar in Harrisonburg on THURSDAY, August 7th from 6-8pm.
Enjoy an elevated tasting and exploration of how the size and shape of a wine glass can affect your perception of the aroma and taste of wine.
Lee Hartman, the winemaker at Bluestone Vineyard and proprietor of Rootstock wine bar will lead this Reidel stemware tasting!
Rootstock wine bar, at 86 W Gay St, is Harrisonburg's only combination wine shop and wine bar! Carrying everything produced by Bluestone Vineyard, as well as other delicious bottles from the Shenandoah Valley and around the world!
We have transitioned to a tiered meeting fee.

You will be able to order a selection of snacks and boards featuring high-quality pantry items, including artisanal pastas, sauces, and a standout array of tinned fish.

Each wine will be introduced, poured and discussed in order.
We meet to taste and learn in a group setting so that we can enjoy the experience together.
Please give the presenter your full attention and respect your fellow enthusiasts during the tasting, everyone will have an opportunity to ask questions and make comments after each pour, and plenty of socializing time after.
Q&A to follow as well as general discussion about the wines.
