Brookhouse is a Richmond, VA-based singer-songwriter and bandleader who mixes rock, Latin jazz, funk, and Americana like only a Cuban-American and lifelong Virginian could. His first release, titled the American Sounds EP, uses his unique cultural mixture to examine American identity, honor his mixed heritage, and tell stories of dictatorships and revolution that we would be wise to learn from.
