Ainsley Gabelman is a 7yo girl fighting Neuroblastoma. A cancer normally found in younger children, usually starting in nerve cells.
Ainsley had become ill, wasn't showing any signs of improvement. Children's did a scan, finding her diagnosis. With this, she has a very long road ahead of her.
Already, she's been through:
•2 central line placements- 1 for chemo 1 for stem cell
•Stem cell collection/harvesting
•Blood transfusions
•Ovary removal to preserve her chance at having children one day
•Chemo
•Radiation
There's more and the list is only going to continue to grow.
This will become a lifetime commitment for her, even through remission.
Since then, she spends most of her days at Children's Hospital, allowed a few days here and there to go home, with a home health nurse.
Her parents are no longer working. Ainsley's mom is also expecting a baby with down syndrome. Her step-parents are working trying to help with the finances.
To help Ainsley and her family we are putting together a benefit ride. We are asking the community to join us in supporting this amazing bright spirited little girl. 🌞

KSU: 12p.m.
We will start and end at the Harrison VFW.
Depending on how she is feeling, Ainsley will make her grand appearance as we head out👸
