Reiki is a simple, natural and safe practice of energy healing that anyone can learn and use. The word 'reiki' comes from two Japanese words. "rei" meaning universal, and "ki" meaning vital force energy. Reiki treats the mind, body and spirit with beneficial results that include relaxation, pain relief, reduces symptoms, promotes feelings of peace and well-being. Reiki works with and compliments all other medical and therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and speed recovery. You can use reiki on family, friends, pets, plants and situations!
Reiki is now used in medical centers across the US and around the world.
The person receiving a Reiki session remains fully clothed, either lying down or sitting comfortably, while the Reiki practitioner channels this energy through the palms of their hands, with light touch or holding their hands just over the body.

The class takes place at the Earth Wisdom studio in a secluded, woodland setting in Harrison, Michigan. During breaks and lunch, you are welcome to stroll the grounds and visit the Medicine Lodge, as weather permits.
Reiki at Earth Wisdom is taught by Vicki Kibby. Vicki has been a Reiki practitioner and teacher since 2010. She has taught and attuned well over 100 students. She is also an herbalist, rune reader, Shamanic practitioner, ordained minister and a drum and rattle maker. Additionally, Vicki hosts Celebrations, ceremonies, drum journeys, Women's retreats and drum & rattle making workshops. She also has a private practice for Shamanic healing, reiki sessions and officiates hand-fasting's and weddings.
