The Autumn Equinox is a moment in the year when the day and night are equal length. The Equinox is about balance. It is a time to reflect upon and feel gratitude for the abundance in our lives.
This seasonal event is most often celebrated with community feasts, dancing and rituals to mark the changing of the seasons and the harvest. We too will be celebrating and feasting this weekend with seasonal bounty. Weather permitting, we will tend a pot of Stone Soup over our campfire. Our tables will be filled with crock pots of warm cider, hot cocoa and magic. We may also enjoy steaming mugs of pumpkin spice latte or seasonal tea. There will be platters of freshly made cider donuts, apple muffins and pies. And we will sit by the fire in the evening, sipping our mugs of brew and tasting this wonderful bounty as we watch the stars in the night sky above us. And once again, the Wheel of the Year keeps turning.

This event is held rain or shine. Earth Wisdom has a 20x32 building for meals and workshops, a large studio and a Medicine Lodge for healing work, journeys, ceremonies and more.
For this event, participants are asked to bring (if they can) a 1/2 cup of a vegetable, rice, pasta, beans (precook the beans please) or similar ingredient in a zip bag to place in the stone soup pot.
All meals and snacks are included in the cost. Delicious food is prepared on site. Coffee, tea, water and snacks are available 24/7. If you have any special dietary needs, please advise or bring what you need. There is a fridge, stove and microwave for meal prep.
Camping is FREE if you bring your own tent, camper, or van to sleep in. It is a 'dry' camp, meaning no water or electric hook up. I do challenge campers to dress up your sites with solar lights and fun decor if that sounds fun to you. You may also wish to bring your Goddess skirts, dress or scarves to wear in the evening. If you do not have your own camp set up, we have a 16x16 tent that is outfitted with 6 cots. If you would like a cot and bedding in the shared tent, the price is an additional $50 added to the $265 event price. There are outhouses, a camp shower and wash station near the camping area.
If you live close and do not wish to camp, consider commuting. Another option is 2 hotels in nearby Clare and Bud Lake Motel in Harrison, and the Leota Motel in Leota.
Your host for this event is Vicki Kibby. Vicki is a Reiki Master, herbalist, Shamanic Practitioner, certified sound healer, drum and rattle maker and Keeper of the Earth Wisdom Spiral Path and Medicine Lodge. She has hosted many events, workshops, ceremonies and gatherings and has led many on Guided drum journeys.
The cost for this event is $265 (additional $50 for cot and bedding in the shared tent). The $265 includes 6 meals, snacks, beverages and all materials for workshops. You may begin your camp set up any time after 4pm on Friday. Retreat begins at 6pm with dinner.
This retreat is limited to 16 women. A $75 deposit is required to reserve your place in this retreat. Your deposit is 100% refundable if you cancel at least 2 weeks in advance. After that deposits are non-refundable. Deposits may be made through:
