Swatara Township is hosting their 3rd annual Labor Day Fireworks Celebration event tomorrow 8/30/25 from 3pm until 10pm at Bishop Park (1425 Highland Street Harrisburg). Come join this fun filled family event as we say goodbye to summer and prepare for the fall! This event is FREE to attend and is open to the general public. Please review the important information below for this event:
Parking: All guests who are driving MUST enter the park off of Highland Street from Eisenhower Blvd. (Highland Street will be closed just west of Bishop Park starting at 2pm)
IF YOU ARE COMING TO WATCH THE FIREWORKS YOU MUST ENTER THE PARK NO LATER THAN 8:30PM
Guests will be able to enjoy the fireworks from the comfort of their own vehicle if they so choose.
Handicap parking is available however spaces are limited.
Guests may walk to the event from the western side of Highland Street and may utilize public street parking where permitted.
Food: There will be 12 food trucks on site which will serve food from 3pm until 8:30pm. The food trucks include the following:

There will be a DJ on site playing music from 3pm until 5pm
The Josh Squared Band will be playing LIVE music from 5pm until 9pm

Pirate Ship Ride (Young children) - 3pm to 9pm
Turbo Tubs Ride (Young childen) - 3pm to 9pm
Rockwall - 3pm to 9pm
Petting Zoo - 3pm to 7pm
Horse Rides - 4pm to 7pm
Carnival Style Games - 3pm to 9pm
Face Painting
AND OF COURSE YOU CAN BRING YOUR OWN YARD GAMES
Fireworks Show:
The 20 minute fireworks show will start promptly at 9pm
No exiting of the park will be permitted onto Highland Street until AFTER the fireworks show has concluded. If you have to leave prior to the start of the fireworks you must exit via Summit Street.
