AKC FIT Dog Walk - Boyd Big Tree Conservation Area

Group dog walk for fun, to spend time with your dog, and/or to earn points for FIT Dog titling (not a training walk). This walk will be 2-3 miles of moderate walking on earthen trails with very frequent roots and rocks. There will be some up/downhill walking. Wear appropriate footwear. Bring poop bags and water (and a bowl) for your dog. Bring water for yourself. There is a porta-potty at this location. We'll meet in the main parking area (entrance is on Fishing Creek Valley Road, approximately 2.5 miles from 322).

ALL are welcome. All breeds and mixes of dog. All people. And you are not required to have a dog to walk with us!

Wildlife may be visible at this location and dogs are required to be on-leash.

Dogs must be up-to-date on rabies and DHPP vaccines. Bordetella vaccine is recommended as dogs may be in close proximity during the walk. Leptospirosis vaccine is recommended as we will be walking near bodies of water where wildlife live. Tick preventive is essential as we live in Pennsylvania, where ticks are present year-round.
