Storytime With Dogs - Lincoln Branch

There’s really nothing better than kids, books, and dogs!

Join us at the Lincoln Branch of the Detroit Public Library for a heartwarming Storytime with Shelter Dogs. Children gather to read their favorite books out loud while friendly shelter dogs listen in. It’s a win-win: kids build confidence in their reading skills, and dogs enjoy the comfort of gentle voices and companionship.

This simple but magical hour helps kids grow as readers while giving adoptable dogs the chance to soak up love, attention, and positive interactions. Come share stories, wagging tails, and unforgettable moments!
