Brookings Discover Oregon Seafood Dock Tours

Join Oregon Sea Grant experts on a guided walk along the commercial docks in Brookings Harbor.

• Learn about the Brookings working waterfront and the sustainable seafood the fishing fleet brings back to the dock.
• Learn how seafood is harvested in Brookings and how to distinguish the different types of fishing vessels and gear. We might even meet a fisherman or two along the way!

What to expect:

• Each tour will last 60 - 90 minutes. Participants should expect to be walking or standing the entire tour. Total walking distance will be approximately 1/2 mile.
• Tours will start at 10 am and 1 pm.
• Each participant will recieve a complimentary gift tote bag with informational resources and local seafood products.

What to bring:

• Dress for the weather.
• Comfortable, closed-toes shoes recommended.

Parking & Accessibility:

• Brookings has plenty of parking adjacent to the commercial docks on Lower Harbor Road. We will meet near the bathrooms located between the two ramps down to the commercial docks.
