EcoVision, a leading Zimbabwean Water engineering and Sustainability firm, is collaborating with OVO™️, a subsidiary of 149 Technologies, an American firm specialising in women's health and African Rivers, a local NGO (with support from the Ministry of Lands, Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development) to address the pressing issue of water pollution and its impacts on the environment, production, economy and women’s health. This year’s World Water Day theme, “Water and Gender,” underscores the vital connection between water resources, water quality and gender equity, emphasising how women's health is intricately linked to the quality of water available. The Summit will bring together Key Stakeholders from various industries across eight ministries (Agriculture, Industry and Commerce, Mining, Environment and Tourism, Education, Women Affairs, Finance, Youth) in roundtable discussions of how water pollution is contributing to climate change threatening food security, health and affecting vulnerable groups. The event will be held at the Harare Hippodrome on the 25th of March followed by a Climate Champions football cup on the 26th of March 2026 and a networking dinner to wrap up the event.
