INSTRUCTOR: ZSARIS MENDIORO (the Philippines)

Zsaris Mendioro is a Filipino singer-songwriter, live looper, beatboxer, and producer whose improvised music-making blurs the lines between performance and creation. Drawing from her voice, technology, and rhythm, she builds lush and soulful soundscapes in real time.

In her improvisation work, Zsaris is half of the duo A II Z (with Aryn Cristobal), where they create melodies, emotions, and song structures on the spot. They have been featured on stage in multiple regional improv festivals.

Zsaris continues to experiment with sound and improvisation, creating music that is both deeply personal and dynamically responsive.
