Have you ever wanted to sing, but felt too scared to do it in public? Do you think singing isn't for you, even though you'd love to try?

This space is for you.

This workshop is designed for anyone who feels curious about singing but has faced fear, shame, or the belief that they don't have "the right voice."

No prior experience is needed-just the desire to explore your voice in a safe, collective, and judgment-free environment. With guidance from Pilar Cabrera, participants will come together to learn and perform a song as a group, using singing as a tool for expression, play, and emotional release.


OBJECTIVES:
・ Break through the fear and shame associated with singing
・ Explore the voice as a channel for authentic expression, free from technical demands
・ Build group trust through the collaborative creation of a song
・ Enjoy the process of singing through play, body awareness, and active listening
・ Experience a transformative vocal journey in community

INSTRUCTOR: PILAR CABRERA (Colombia)

Colombian singer and songwriter.

She has performed on some of Colombia’s most important stages, including Estéreo Picnic Festival (2023), Julio Mario Santodomingo Theater (2024), Colsubsidio Theater (alongside Pedro Pastor Guerra) (2025), and has collaborated with a range of national artists, including Juan Pablo Vega, Juliana, Lucio Fuillet, and Álvaro Ruiz.

She is the co-founder of the Colombian all-women band Flor de Lava and the creator and producer of El Festival de Fuego (2023–2024). Throughout her career, she has released several albums and singles that have been well received by both critics and audiences, allowing her to tour in Mexico (2022) and Spain (2025).

In addition to her work as a performer and songwriter, Pilar has shared her experience through talks and workshops on songwriting, creative processes, voice, and overcoming fear and creative blocks in Colombia, Spain, and Peru.
