The ‘Women in my life’ exhibition is in a way the ‘Intimacy III.’ exhibition, but with a twist. This time within the ‘Intimacy’ topic the focus is only on women. Works created only by female artists, who are reflecting on their relationship towards other females, or self. It’s also a great opportunity to celebrate women, who holds the absolute power of creation.
I’ve been also very particular with choosing the date for the opening event each time. The previous exhibit (‘Intimacy II.’) was on my Mum’s birthday, this time it’s Hungarian Mothers day. I thought it’s a nice way to continue to thread the storyline, as well as to arrive to a full circle moment (bonus to the punchline that the Force also joins to support this last round, lol). As I have decided that this will be the last group exhibition I organise in Hanoi. It’s been a very constructive journey, that has come to it’s end.
It also wouldn't be a proper full circle moment, without a tribute to Truc Bach ahaha!
