This week at Long Waits, we invite you to embrace the gentle charm of autumn through a night of timeless jazz standards. With her warm voice and delicate phrasing, Julie joins the Trio Band to paint the season in sound — from golden leaves drifting in the breeze to the fleeting, tender melancholy that only fall can bring.
For Julie, autumn has always been the most beautiful season of the year: “with its chilly winds, the golden leaves falling softly… It’s beautiful, yet it comes and goes so quickly, almost impossible to hold onto.”
Through this concert, she hopes to capture and share those fleeting moments, letting the audience keep a piece of this poetic season in their hearts.
