After a hugely successful run of shows at Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2025, Aarti and Ankita our touring their debut show, "GEN-XXX", thru Singapore, KL, Penang, Hà Nội and Sài Gòn!
GEN-XXX is a fearlessly raunchy, delectably authentic stand-up hour conceived, written and performed by Aarti and Ankita, two fearless Gen-X comics who believe this human existence is hilariously insignificant and hence, life is nothing but a series of… jokes!
GEN-XXX is a deep, intimate and incisive female gaze at life and people – friends, relatives, parents, kids, colleagues, dates, partners and sundry. Aarti and Ankita are both born Indians, but living abroad, which makes their observations intriguingly 'same same but different'. Aarti is a resident of Australia while Ankita lives in HCMC.
As Feature act for the night we are delighted to welcome Vivaan Seth, a two-time finalist at the Singapore International Comedy Contest, a back-to-back Comedy Roast Champion, and a regular on comedy stages across Singapore. Critics have described him as "laughable" and "funny looking" and his hilarious descriptions of dating, Asian cultures and historical figures will leave you in stitches.
And finally, say G'day!/Sawasdee Krap! to your host, Arnie Pie, a Thai-Australian born comedian who's brought his comedy stylings, crowd work and racial humour to Europe and across South-East Asia, now making his debut performance in Hanoi.
