Perth-based electronica producer Jonathan Wolfe is back in Hanoi!
He's here to preview his new album, Blue in Blue, and will be performing under his moniker, Operation Midnight.
With a background in sound design, post-rock, and film, Wolfe creates minimal wave synthesizer music. He thrives on the spontaneous nature of analog synthesis, merging electronica, synthwave, IDM, downtempo, and ambient music. Drawing inspiration from synthesizer pioneers such as Laurie Spiegel and Jean-Michel André, he generates layers of immersive sound built upon polyrhythms, electro-house beats, and innovative synth arrangements.
The result is a hybrid of retro-inspired electronic music with purpose and emotional resonance. Operation Midnight’s debut album, Paramour Echo, is out now.
