Gemeinsam tanzen, gemeinsam fühlen, gemeinsam wachsen.
Das Herzstück jeder FCBD®Style-Stunde ist das gemeinsame Tanzen. In der Gruppenimprovisation entsteht ein lebendiger Dialog aus Bewegung, Rhythmus und Präsenz – die Tänzerinnen werden eins mit dem Moment, miteinander und mit der Musik. In diesem Sommer laden wir dich ein zu einem ganz besonderen Tanzprojekt, das sich ganz der Essenz des FatChanceBellyDance®Style (FCBD®Style) widmet: der Verbindung im Tanz, der Musikalität und der gemeinsamen Improvisation in der großen Gruppe – dem Chorus.
💃 Was erwartet dich?
In 9 Terminen erforschen wir, wie man improvisiert im Chorus tanzt – also in einer großen Formation, als Teil einer tänzerischen Gemeinschaft.
Unser musikalischer Fokus liegt dabei auf einem Klassiker des FCBD®Style: dem Stück „Barburi“ vom Yuval Ron Ensemble.
Wir arbeiten an Musikalität, Timing, Klarheit und Miteinander – mit und ohne Bühne.

📍 Vor Ort in Hannover & online für alle, die nicht lokal dabei sein können!

Zum Abschluss des Sommerprojekts hast du die Möglichkeit, das Gelernte auf die Bühne zu bringen:
Am 23. August tanzen wir gemeinsam beim Best of Orient Festival – zusammen mit befreundeten Gruppen in einer großen, kraftvollen Formation.
Du möchtest auftreten? Dann sei bei mindestens 5 der 9 Termine dabei.
Aber keine Sorge: Du kannst auch ohne Bühnenauftritt am Projekt teilnehmen.
👗 Für die Performance brauchst du ein Kostüm und Zimbeln – wir unterstützen dich gerne bei der Zusammenstellung oder mit Leihteilen (solange der Fundus reicht).
Ein Kostüm wächst am besten mit dir mit – also keine Scheu, damit langsam zu starten!
🌈 Für alle Level geeignet!
Ganz egal, ob du regelmäßig bei Calaneya tanzt oder einfach mal mitmachen möchtest – jede:r ist willkommen.
Die Choreografie ist so aufgebaut, dass jede Erfahrungsebene ihren Platz findet.

The heart of every FCBD®Style class is dancing together. The group improvisation creates a lively dialogue of movement, rhythm and awareness - the dancers become one with the moment, with each other and with the music. This summer, we invite you to a very special dance project dedicated to the essence of FatChanceBellyDance®Style (FCBD®Style): the connection in dance, musicality and joint improvisation in the large group - the chorus.
💃 What can you expect?
In 9 sessions, we will explore how to dance improvised in a chorus formation.
Our musical focus is on a classic of the FCBD® style: the piece ‘Barburi’ by the Yuval Ron Ensemble.
We work on musicality, timing, clarity and togetherness - with and without the stage.

📍 Live in Hanover & online for all those who can't be there locally via Zoom!
🌟 The highlight:
At the end of the summer project, you have the opportunity to bring what you have learnt to the stage:
On 23 August, we will dance together at the Best of Orient Festival in Hannover - together with partner groups in a large, powerful formation.
Would you like to perform? Then join us on at least 5 of the 9 dates.
But don't worry: you can also take part in the project without performing on stage.
👗 You will need a costume and cymbals for the performance - we will be happy to help you put them together or lend you some (while stocks last).
A costume grows with you - so don't be afraid to start slowly!
🌈 Suitable for all levels!
Whether you dance regularly at Calaneya or just want to join in - everyone is welcome.
The course is structured in such a way that every level of experience has its place.
