Die Kestner Gesellschaft lädt herzlich zur Eröffnung des Ausstellungsprogramms im Sommer 2025 ein.
Am Freitag, 15. August 2025 um 19 Uhr werden die Einzelausstellungen Underwater Haze von Trevor Yeung, thereafter von Ian Waelder sowie die verlängerte Ausstellung The Rivers They Don’t See von Som Supaparinya präsentiert.
Ergänzt wird das Programm durch die zweite Auflage des Projektes Passage mit dem Thema Disruptive Kontinua – eine Neupräsentation mit Ephemera und Archivmaterial zur Geschichte des Kunstvereins – sowie Vermittlungsformate der kestnerkids und begleitendes Veranstaltungsprogramm mit Artist Talks, Vorträgen und Screenings im Vermittlungsraum.
Zum Auftakt der neuen Ausstellungssaison lädt die Kestner Gesellschaft dazu ein, den Abend gemeinsam bei Livemusik, einem kuratorischen Rundgang durch die Ausstellungen und Getränken ausklingen zu lassen.

The Kestner Gesellschaft cordially invites you to the opening of the Summer 2025 exhibition program.
On Friday, August 15, 2025 at 7 pm, the solo exhibitions Underwater Haze by Trevor Yeung, thereafter by Ian Waelder and the extended exhibition The Rivers They Don't See by Som Supaparinya will be presented.
The program is complemented by the second edition of the Passage project under the theme Disruptive Continuums —a new presentation featuring ephemera and archival material on the history of the Kunstverein—as well as educational formats by the kestnerkids and an accompanying events program with artist talks, lectures, and screenings in the education space.
To kick off the new exhibition season, the Kestner Gesellschaft invites you to end the evening together with live music, a curatorial tour through the exhibitions and drinks.
