THEATER | Awakened —A WORLD PREMIERE play from the Planet Ant Farm Team

Get ready to believe in Fairytales Again. AWAKENED is a black & brown retelling of the classic Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs.Loosely inspired by the original story from the Brothers Grimm, this story flips on its head and asks what happens after, happily ever after?

After being cursed by sleeping death and being awoken her true love Prince Malik. Princess Amara must go on a journey through the enchanted forest to take back her kingdom from her evil-stepmother Queen Liana. With the help of her prince and three kind & brave soldiers will help her defeat her stepmother and save her kingdom. Will they reign victorious or succumb to Queen Liana’s Wrath?

Using modern story elements while also combining the vibe of classic disney fairy-tales and stories from our childhood. AWAKENED explores themes of lost love, deep trauma, abuse and what hope and triumph really looks like. We invite you to sit down, listen and ask yourself - Would you lose everything to become whole again?
