Professional storyteller Cath is back, by popular demand, for an extra date.
Join us for an evening of folktales, all about how the coast calls to us and how the land has shaped our lives and our stories. Even amidst our busy urban lives, it is possible to sense a deep and ancient relationship with nature, which these heart-warming and intriguing tales will bring to light.
There’s a story of friends, parted for decades, who are drawn together by their love of the sea; of trees whose hearts and wills are as strong as the timber of which they’re made; of a lad who loses his soul in the land he calls his own; and more. And along the way, there is drama, heroism, treachery, revenge – and ghosts!
For decades, Cath Edwards has delighted audiences of all ages with her stories. She works outdoors and in, at festivals, at story clubs, in schools, libraries and museums. She has written two books of folk tales for The History Press: West Midlands Folk Tales and Warwickshire Folk Tales and her website is www.storytellingforall.co.uk.
