Residents interested in putting their name forward are invited to attend an in-person public information session on ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ก ๐๐๐ญ๐ก ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ ๐:๐๐ ๐๐ โ ๐:๐๐ ๐๐, held upstairs in the ๐๐๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ญ๐จ๐ง ๐๐จ๐ฐ๐ง ๐๐๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐๐ข๐ฅ ๐๐ก๐๐ฆ๐๐๐ซ๐ฌ.
Province-wide municipal elections will take place on Monday, May 11, 2026. This session will provide a clear and practical overview of what serving on Council involves, including time commitments, governance responsibilities, and the realities of local leadership.
Representatives from Hamptonโs Administration, Elections New Brunswick, and the Fundy Region Service Commission will be in attendance to discuss how municipal government operates, the nomination and election process, important dates, candidate requirements, and regional collaboration.
This session is open to residents considering candidacy. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about what it means to serve their community through elected office.
