Get ready for a time-traveling tail-waggin’ good time at Hammond Heartland Days! Dress your dog as a famous figure or in the style of your favorite decade — from flapper pups of the ‘20s to disco dogs of the ‘70s or grunge gremlins from the ‘90s!

🐾 Parade Details:
📍 Location: Hammond Heartland Dog Park
🕔 Registration: 5PM (under dog park pavilion)
🐶 Parade Starts: 5:30PM
🍦 All participants get a free Pup Cup courtesy of Buddy’s Frozen Delights
💰 FREE to register and attend!

🏆 A grand prize will be awarded in each of the following Costume Categories:

🕺“Best Blast from the Past”
For the best decade-inspired costume — think poodle skirts, tie-dye, or acid-wash realness.

🏛️ “Fur-mous Historical Figure”
Awarded to the pup dressed as a well-known human from history (Abe Paw-lincoln? Joan of Bark? Elvis Pawsley? You get the idea).

👯‍♂️ “Dynamic Duo Through the Decades”
Best matching human + pup costume pair from the same time period or representing a famous pair from history/pop culture.
