Texas King is an alternative rock band known for their high-energy live performances, infectious melodies,and a signature blend of rock, indie, and pop influences. In 2022, Texas King released the EP Changes, featuring introspective lyrics and dynamic instrumentals. This pivotal release led to their signing with Known Accomplice and set the stage for their 2023 EP Capsize. This EP expanded their sound with a more polished and experimental approach, including the #4 Active Rock radio hit "Whatever You Break", solidifying their growing influence in modern rock music. Now, Texas King is touring behind their biggest release yet—their highly anticipated new album, Ultraviolet, released February 21, 2025. The album represents a fresh evolution for the band, blending anthemic alternative rock energy with captivating melodies and deep lyrical storytelling. The album's lead single, "Hook Me Up", explores the feeling of reaching a life-changing crossroads. The band describes it as a raw and personal reflection: “You aren't ready to make real change until you are. It's a conversation between me and me. It's an admission of weakness, of the fact that it's okay to ask for help. In life, we all need to find a good, clean energy source to sustain us through the good and bad times. This song is me saying, 'Alright, I'm ready—Hook Me Up.'” Influenced by Kings of Leon and The Black Keys, Texas King has been a touring powerhouse since 2014, bringing their explosive stage presence to fans across North America. They’ve played at major music festivals including Boots & Hearts, Hillside, Tall Pines, and Festival d’été de Québec. With over 250,000 miles logged on the road, they’ve toured alongside Big Wreck, Last Dinosaurs, and The Glorious Sons, solidifying their reputation as a must-see live rock act. With Ultraviolet, Texas King is keeping their momentum strong, delivering fresh alternative rock anthems while staying true to the passion that fuels their music. Small-Town Strip Club (STSC) has a sound inspired by blues, rock, and alternative music, Starting out as a cover band, STSC covered their favourite bands, such as The Black Keys, City and Colour, The Glorious Sons, Chris Stapleton, and Kings of Leon. STSC combines their diverse musical influences with personal songwriting, creating catchy and relatable rock tunes.
