Stitch Club @ Empire Make Space

Stitch Club is back, this time at Empire Make Space on Ottawa Street North!

Come join us for an afternoon and knit, crochet, weave, bead, mend, embroider, WHATEVER! All crafts are beautiful here 🪡

This is an open-ended session - show up when you can, leave when you want. Just bring a project to work on - we'll get the snacks 🍪 We also have a growing stash pile of yarn and tools! Bring your unwanted items and support circular economies ♻️

All are welcome, no one turned away for lack of funds 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

about the venue

Empire Make Space is a collaborative sewing studio and reclaimed fabric store. They have a full working sewing studio and retail space selling fabric, notions, and small batch produced clothing and accessories. On evenings and weekends, Empire Make Space hosts workshops and clubs for makers of all varieties 🪡

transportation/parking

Empire Make Space is just a stone’s throw away from the #3 Cannon bus stop at Ottawa street, and a short walk from the following bus lines: #1 (King), #2 (Barton), #41 (Mohawk).

Bicycle racks are available along Ottawa street, including two directly outside!

Paid parking is available on Ottawa street, as well as a number of municipal parking lots close by.
