We might not be in Japan, but we’re still keeping the touge spirit alive. Instead of Mount Akina, we’ll be carving up the winding roads of Pirongia.
Join us on Saturday 13th December as we meet at the Woolworths Dinsdale carpark at 7pm, setting off at 7:30pm. From there, we’ll drive out through Whatawhata to Pirongia, taking on the twisties before finishing up in Te Awamutu. The drive will run for approximately an hour.
There will be two groups to suit everyone:
- Fast group: for confident drivers who want a more spirited touge experience.
- Cruisey group: for those who prefer a relaxed pace while still soaking in the vibe.
Please remember, Waikato Roadsters does not condone any antisocial or reckless behaviour on the roads. Drive responsibly, respect other road users and local residents, and help keep our events safe and enjoyable for everyone.
Bring your night glow, crank the eurobeat, and get ready to channel that classic JDM energy as we take on Pirongia.
Note: This event will go ahead only if the weather is dry. If conditions are wet, the run will be postponed and a new date will be advised.
