On Saturday July 26th, we're going to do a road-trip to Hamilton to join the Hamilton Glow Riders. The previouss road trips we have done were a huge success and a lot of fun. The plan will be to catch the GO Train from Union Station which will go directly to the West Harbour GO Station in Hamilton which is a short ride to Corktown Park, the starting point for the Glowride. We'll aim to catch the 4:47 pm Go Train leaving Union Station to Harbour GO Station, and on the way back we'll catch the 11:24 pm train at West Harbour Go to get back to Union Station. The Hamilton Glowriders (www.glowriders.ca) are a bicycle group very similar to our own who have been putting on "Glowrides" in the Hamilton downtown area for what seems like ages now! They tend to attract a huge crowd of very enthusiastic riders and their Glowrides are a spectacle that should be experienced by everyone at least once!
If you don't want to catch the GO train at Union Station, or if you have another way to get to Hamilton, that's fine, we're all going to meet in the parking lot of the West Harbour Go station at 7:00 pm, where we'll then ride together to the starting point of the Glowride at Corktown Park in Hamilton. If you catch the 4:47 pm GO Train with me then we can stop off at Philthy Phill's for a Philly steak sandwich before the ride:

Please note that the last train back to Toronto from West Harbour Go Station is at 11:24 pm on Saturday night. We will aim to be back at the West Harbour Go station at this time to catch the last train back, but make sure you don't miss it as you'll be stuck in Hamilton!
The Glowride itself is not that long. It'll run from around 8:30 pm to 10:00 pm or so. We will make sure to be back in time to catch the last train to Toronto at 11:24 pm.
Please note for those bringing their bikes on the GO Train, each train car allows two bikes per entrance, also GO has rather specific restrictions on E-vehicles. They only allow E-bikes on their Trains if they resemble bicycles and not if they are more like mopeds or motorcycles. For more info on what types of e-bikes they allow please see their page:

PS. Make sure to bring a spare tube with you on this ride. If you get a flat in the middle of the ride you don't want to be stuck in Hamilton with a flat!
