This event is free. For the third year in a row, MGFun have been invited to the lovely location of Grenta by the 75 and ZT Owners Club to join them at their annual Anglo - Scottish Meet 2025. On site we have our specific car park available. There are shops, food available, proper toilets and the Gretna Retail Park is nearby. The event attracts owners from England who travel north to the meet.
LEAVING FROM; Palace Grounds Retail Park, Hamilton ML3 6AD. (Starbucks and McDonalds are there if you want breakfast/tea/coffee before we leave).
DEPART; 9.30am sharp!
ARRIVING AT GRETNA; 11.30am at the latest. Location DG16 5EA.
We will spend the afternoon in Gretna leaving around 3pm.
The interesting bit: We will be passing under or over the M74 10 times! Uniquely, our run to Gretna has been planned to avoid the M74, heading through Larkhall, Abington, Beattock, Lockerbie, Ecclefechan etc before arriving in Gretna. Most of the run will be on the old M74 (B7076) which is a nice driving road all the way there with fast straights allowing for some spirited driving should you feel the need.
AM route time is 1hr 50mins and only 75 miles.

The location has nice facilities offering food, toilet and we will have our own designated parking area. Gretna Retail Outlet is a very short drive away if you feel the need to shop or look around. I recommend you take a camping seat. Some people have a picnic/packed lunch.

When you arrive and before you do anything else, please see Glenn to "sign on" to comply with Public Liability Insurance requirements for the insurer, MGCC and the run organiser. Everyone attending an MG Car Club event will be covered by our Public Liability Insurance, whether you are an MG Car Club member or not and all passengers will be covered also.
It is really important to have accurate numbers, so please select "Going" only if you are definitely going or "Maybe". If you change your mind, you can return to the event details and alter your selection at any time from "Maybe" to "Going" or vice versa.
