Important Conversations and Life Story Work

A practical, in person workshop with experienced adopters and family therapist to share and discuss how to have important conversations with your adopted children and young people, relating to their adoption, life journey and personal story. The aim of the workshop is to equip parents to feel more confident about opening up conversations, answering questions in an age-appropriate way and considering different approaches to life journey work.

There will be a survey circulated before the training date so that participants can be matched into groups with people having similar age children and to gather information about particular issues that are of concern to course participants.
