Join proud trans woman Emma Clifton, in this innovative workshop, Exploring Identity.
Emma is an interdisciplinary artist, and educator using traditional and contemporary forms of printmaking, textiles, photo media, collage, and mixed-media. Her current practice is exploring identity, gender, and belonging.
This workshop is part of Newcastle Pride month and aims to explore and celebrate LGBTQIA+ youth through creativity. Emma will guide participants to use mixed media and collage to create art works.
This workshop is FREE and limited to 20 participants
HOST: Newcastle Pride Inc is an inclusive LGBTIQA+ charity, founded in 2018, celebrating sexuality and gender diversity across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, and the Hunter Region. We aim to empower people to embrace their identities and build a safer, more inclusive community. We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of this land the Awabakal and Worimi peoples and honour their Elders and LGBTIQA+ Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
