Earth Canvas 5 Day Art workshop November 16 to 22 - 2025

One of Australia’s leading Abstract Artists Jon Cattapan (www.joncattapan.com.au) will lead a 5 full day art workshop.
Highlighting -People in the Landscape. For practicing artists or anyone wanting to enjoy 5 days or 6 nights of painting and exploring on an iconic Western Victoria Regenerative Farm at ChatsworthHouse.com.au
Accommodation and food are included. Options for partners of artists. The workshop is designed to create personal practical techniques for constructing figurative artworks that utilise the immediate environment & place people within. Daily regime of historical and contextual discussion,followed by practical making, with one-on-one tutoring and group tutorials. For both serious artist and those enthusiastic with some experience.
Jon is an extensively exhibited visual artist, lives and works in Melbourne. Began exhibiting in 1979 & since had over 60 solo exhibitions. Long Associated with the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA).A dedicated educator and mentor.
