Take part in an engaging, in gallery sketching experience with the exhibition 'Metamorphoses: Visions of Antiquity in the Modern Era.'
Under the guidance of Artist Instructor Amanda McKinney Sparrow, students will explore a different subject matter in each session by sketching directly from the exhibition’s artworks. In the second half of each session, students will have the opportunity to move to the studio to finesse their work with charcoal or colour. Thumb nails, value, shading, and hatching techniques will be demonstrated when sketching each subject matter. Each session will provide a unique opportunity to enhance your technical skills and creative insight.
