If you have your first box of bees arriving this May or June and no plan in place, do not take the risk, especially if you have not taken the beginner’s class I offer. Without a program and experience, you risk losing your bees and the chance of harvesting any honey; ultimately wasting time and money.
Daniel Kneblewski will share and teach you how to manage and keep your bees through the first day your bees arrive into the spring season. This local and custom program is based on the Ontario Beekeeping Manual, experiences gained from master beekeepers and breeders, and Daniel’s 7 years of experience. In this 2 hour class Daniel goes over the following:
After completing this class, you will have more confidence and know what to do before your first box of bees arrive.
In this class, Daniel will present a comprehensive slideshow and perform example inspections with an empty hive. Be prepared to take notes. A digital copy of the slides will be provided by Generations Marketplace to each student after the class.
Students will have an opportunity to order bees from Daniel if students have not been able to find local sources.
