Please join us on Saturday, September 6, from 2-6 PM for an open event. Lite snacks will be provided, and the brewery is open for normal service including beverages and kitchen.
The Grindell Creative Collective
This body of work is reflective of two generations of local creatives. Joan and Mark Grindell are two former design professionals who made career changes and shifted to focusing on their personal creative pursuits. Joan’s painting and illustration reflect her positive energy. Mark’s printmaking, illustration and painting lean toward a wide range of subject matter. Their daughter Emily is an educator who has focused on painting, illustration, and collage of her own unique styling. Aleah, an environmental biology student and seasonal worker, provides her look at nature and the abstract. Together they present a balance of complimentary work across multiple mediums.
Our work will be exhibited at Counterweight Brewing from August 31 through September 28, 2025, in the 2nd floor exhibit hall. 7 Diana Court, Cheshire, CT 06410. Check hours of operation at Counterweightbrewing.com
We will be onsite throughout the month to meet with folks and share our creative journey. Artwork is for sale as noted and additional work may be onsite for purchase.
