Late Summer Foraging Class

Join us for a class on late summer foraging on Saturday, August 23rd at 10 AM in Hamden, CT. This class will be co-taught by arborist and owner of eattheplanet.org Joe Ross and CT Foraging Club founder Amy Demers. Participants will learn how to identify and utilize edible and medicinal plants and mushrooms that can be found this time of year.

Class will consist of a 45 minute lecture where you will learn how to differentiate edible plant and mushroom species from any toxic look alikes. We will then go on a 45 minute walk where we will practice plant and mushroom ID.

We will run the class rain or shine.
