Come join the Hamden Land Conservation Trust, the Hamden High Bird Club, and the Eli Whitney Museum for a family-friendly nature walk at East Rock starting at 10 AM. The walk will begin at the Eli Whitney Museum and explore the newly installed bioswale in the museum’s parking lot, followed by a stroll through the nearby trails of East Rock. Binoculars will be available to borrow from the museum, so everyone can enjoy birdwatching along the way. At 11 AM, families are invited to participate in a hands-on bird feeder building activity. The cost is $14 per feeder, but the first twelve families to register will receive the materials for free. It’s a perfect way to spend a morning outdoors, learning and creating together!
