Join us for an evening of dance, food, and merriment at a formal masquerade ball in the style and spirit of the Bridgerton and Queen Charlotte television series!
Dress: fantastical-historical costume inspired by the style of the late 18th to early 19th centuries. The smaller silhouette of early 19th century gowns make them easier to dance in, but if you want to go full Queen Charlotte, we will be thrilled and admiring!! Masks for the first part of the evening - we will un-mask late in the event. Please bring clean, indoor-only shoes to protect the dance floor. Flat or low-heeled with leather soles will be easiest for dancing. No spike heels!
Dancing: all dances will be taught and led by professional caller Susan de Guardiola. Attendance at pre-ball classes is recommended but not required.
