About the event

Historisk vandring i Mjøsparken

Velkommen til historisk vandring. I nesten 100 år var Strandsaga, i dag Mjøsparken, et industriområde. I 1916 satte Børre Vik opp et enkelt saghus med dobbel sagbenk. Her skar han tømmer som kom vannvegen. I 1924 overtok Berger Langmoen sagbruket. Lyst til å vite mer?

Hans Anders Haave og Øyvinn Østvoll fra Veldre historielag loser publikum gjennom parken og historien.

Oppmøte: Gjestehavna ved inngangen til parken.

Vandringen avsluttes ved pumpehusene. Ta gjerne en kaffe i etterkant hos serveringsstedet «Bolstad ved Mjøsa».
