Om koret:
The Belfersingers Chamber Choir was founded in 2002 by teachers from Gorlice and the Gorlice district, all passionate about music.
Currently, it has 23 singers and operates under the patronage of the Gorlice Cultural Center, with Andrzej Sędzik as its conductor.
Since 2017, the choir has been supported by the "Belfersingers" Choral Association.The choir's repertoire includes early and contemporary music, Polish and foreign, jazz, folk, and gospel, as well as popular hits
Over the past twenty years, the choir has won numerous awards and distinctions at national and international competitions and festivals, including the Grand Prix at the 16th Christmas Carol Festival in Miechów, first place at the 14th International Religious Song Festival "Cantate Deo" in Rzeszów, and second place at the Passion and Penitential Song Festivals in Święty Krzyż and Radymno.
In 2012, the "Belfersingers" choir received a diploma from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage for outstanding achievements in promoting musical culture and choral music.The choir has performed abroad many times: in Slovenia, Italy, Bulgaria, Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Ukraine, and Slovakia.
It has also organized numerous musical events in Gorlice: the International Religious Song Concert from 2009 to 2019, the "Luz-blues folk" Choir Festival from 2017 to 2019, and, in the last three years, the "Concert in the Basilica.
"The choir has released two albums of Lemko and Pogórze songs: "Muzyczne inspiracje" (Musical Inspirations) – a cappella folk songs, and Christmas and pastoral songs.
They also recorded a music video for the Lemko folk song "Hory moi".
