「吾妻光良 & The Swinging Boppers」のギター、ベース、ドラム　が、Boppersだけでは演奏し足りない、ということで約20年前から三人だけで週末にライヴハウスなどで演奏を開始、3人だけでは限界がある、ということに気づきピアノの早崎も巻き込んでかれこれ12年ほど「トリオ＋１」という半端な名前で活動中。
演目のほとんどは1930～50年代の黒人音楽で、日本語化への取り組みなどもまじえつつ展開しており、何はともあれその選曲が素晴らしい、
と自画自賛していると聞く。
