ZZG, Howling Moon and Pete Cashew live at The Potbelly

Canberra bands ZZG, Howling Moon and Pete Cashew will deliver you a sumptuous musical feast at The Potbelly on Saturday, 30 August 2025. $10 at the bar.

ZZG play atmospheric 70's influenced rock with extended melodic instrumentals and psychedelic moments.

Howling Moon deliver melodic indie rock with an atmospheric prog twist, telling stories about life and landscape. Howling Moon are John White (vocals/keys), Tim Brennan (vocals/guitar), David Bath (bass) and Jonathon Hancock (percussion).

Pete Cashew is a solo project of Pete Lyon, who co-founded the local acoustic pop duo, The Cashews, in the early 2000s. He also plays bass with the alt country band Jason Recliner. For this project he’s teamed with the talented percussionist Clarke Finn (Jason Recliner and several other local bands). Pete writes about landscape, longing, learning and loss and other things starting with other letters.

The Potbelly serves up delicious homemade pizzas and a fine selection of craft beers and other tipples to wet your whistle.
