Study Write 11+ is offering Year 5 students in West Yorkshire a chance to reinforce their Eleven Plus studies during the final week of the Summer holidays.
The structured classes will run each morning and be spread evenly across English Comprehension, Spelling, Grammar, Punctuation, Mathematics, and Creative Writing.
The Study Write 11+ Year 5 Summer School will focus on preparing students for the admissions test, which consists of:
Paper 1: A test in English
Paper 2: A test in Mathematics
Paper 3: A test in Creative Writing
The sessions will cover challenging elements of both English and Mathematics, such as:
English: Language and structural analysis, comprehension strategies, and grammar mastery.
Mathematics: Algebra, advanced problem-solving, and calculations to a GCSE standard.
Creative Writing: Developing storytelling techniques, crafting compelling narratives, and improving descriptive skills.
📚 Textbooks are provided in both English and Mathematics, which will be used in class. The remaining pages can be utilised by students at home for further revision.
