Join us for a fun-filled day on the green at the 1st Annual Wanderers Lawn Bowls Club Mix & Match Pairs! Whether you're a seasoned pro or just getting started, this event is the perfect opportunity to get a taste of competitive play and have some fun too!
Date: Sunday August 17th
Time: 9:00am with games starting at 9:30 AM (3 8 end games throughout the day)
Location: Wanderers Lawn Bowls Club (5759 Sackville Street, Halifax)
Entry Fee: Just $10 per person
Dress Code: Whatever you feel comfortable bowling in. Your choice!
Teams will pair one novice (3 years of experience or less) with one experienced player, creating a balanced, inclusive, and exciting competition. Never played in a tournament? No problem—we’ll make sure everyone has a great time. The event can take a maximum of 16 novices and 16 experienced players. Teams will be determined by a random draw.
Please bring your own lunch. Snacks and drinks will be provided courtesy of the Wanderers Lawn Bowls Club. We’ll also have prizes at the end of the event- so something for everyone!
