Join us our summer edition day-course in our Intro to Herbalism Series, with herbalist and foraging expert Fern Maythorn.
This series will be exploring how to forage, apply and prepare wild medicines in tune with the turning of the wheel. Learn how to empower yourself, connect to nature and heal yourself and others with herbal medicine and wild food direct from the land.
What You'll Experience:
Foraging Walk 11am-12.30pm: This guided foraging walk will teach you how to identify and harvest powerful medicinal and edible plants that thrive in summer. Connect with the land and gather the ingredients to make your own health-supporting remedies. Learn foraging golden rules, plant folklore and more.
Guided Herbal Tea Tasting and Plant Connection - An essential part of herbalism is learning how to connect to the plants and tune into their wisdom, this grounding and creative practice will teach us how to connect with plants, determine their energetics, and foster a connection.

Intro to Herbalism: We’ll explore how working with herbs can help you create a more self-sufficient, natural approach to wellness, and learning applicable knowledge and skills to expand your connection to plants and natural living.
Summer Tonic Tea, Natural Botanical Sunscreen, Herbal Oil, Medicine Making + Demos: Witness how easy it is to transform wild plants into effective remedies for seasonal health and wellness support. Fern will show you step by step how to create your own powerful remedies to make year after year. And, roll up your sleeves and make your very own herbal medicines! Recipe cards and a 3-4 natural summer remedies/tonics included to take home for your growing natural medicine cabinet. All materials provided.
This course jam packed with knowledge for those who want to reclaim their health and connect to the ancient practice of Herbalism. By the end of the day, you’ll not only have new skills and knowledge but also the confidence to create your own nourishing medicines to work with for your own vitality. Lunch and refreshments are available to buy from the beautiful Soul Wellness Hub cafe.
Please bring:
A notebook to write in and a phone to take photos of plants etc
Weather appropriate attire and suitable walking shoes
A foraging bag / container
