🏙️Discover your community at the Get to Know Your Municipality event, which is taking place at the Halifax Central Library – Paul O’Regan Hall on September 13th!
Organized by the Halifax Immigration Partnership, this is a unique opportunity to meet representatives from over 20 organizations.
Learn firsthand what they do and how they serve HRM residents every day. This event is a great way for newcomers and immigrants to ask direct questions and find important information.
We'll have:
✅ Information sessions with Halifax Regional Centre for Education, Halifax Regional Police, Service Canada, Department of Labour, Skills and Immigration, the NS Human Rights Commission and Sport NS.
✅ Fire Prevention Education where firefighters will explain what happens during a fire and how you can prevent it.
✅ Touch-a-Truck. We invite little ones and their families to take a look inside a real fire truck 🚒
