Join workers and their organizations to make demands for changes to N.S. Labour Standards. Don't leave it to lawyers, and Bureaucrats. When employment law demands "a duty of loyalty and obedience" to an employer (shades of the old Servant /master Act) What should the rules be at work? Why should your boss get to decide? Government set "rules" in legislation, cover the basics, so you are not fighting your employer but demanding better protection in legislation ... Help us determine what those should be, what the priorities are... and then help determine and then make demands!
