Families and young audiences are invited to an evening of laughter, learning, and high-voltage fun as Halifax’s Bella Rose Arts Centre presents Doktor Kaboom: Under Pressure! - an unforgettable evening where science takes center stage and everyone leaves a little smarter, braver, and more inspired - on Friday, February 13 th at 7 p.m.
Originally commissioned by the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, this acclaimed production blends interactive science demonstrations, comedy, and powerful messages about
personal resilience. Doktor Kaboom: Under Pressure! explores the incredible force of pressure in our physical world — and uses it as a metaphor for the mental and emotional pressures we all face. Through engaging experiments, audience participation, and nonstop energy, the performance illustrates core science concepts while empowering young people with practical tools and life lessons.
Praised internationally for keeping crowds “riveted with interest and rolling with laughter,” Doktor Kaboom invites volunteers to become the heroes of the moment, encouraging curiosity,
confidence, and creativity.
